breakdown cover in europe

Post by alkers »

Hi, I'm struggling to get breakdown cover in europe. If it is not the campervan, it is the age.

Any advice?

what that? They won't ship it back to UK broke?
I'll try ALPS / Glynwood. Only thing is - are they like Adrian Flux and only do annual breakdown cover... AND only if you take it out within 14 days of policy start? This is where I fall foul - my insurance policy is mid-term. :(

I have heard a rumour that out there is a policy that includes travel insurance. Obviously costs more, but is cheaper when you add the two together?

Any ideas???

Might be worth giving RAC a go. I got joint cover for me and wifey, UK Recovery & assistance, European cover & Caravan & Camping Club membership all for £240!! If you become a member of C&C club they waiver the surcharge for vehicles over 20 years old. Boomba!!!! :P

I've called out Flux Rescue a number of times over the last couple of years, and I've always been impressed with the service they've provided - worth considering.
