Highly likely although to be honest its not that hard to dril out a plain one and file the hole square - have done that many times on bugs.

It just prises off but is a tight fit. Just work a screwdriver under the lip and gradually lever it off bit by bit working your way round the cap

Some can be SO stubborn you have to use a cold chisel with the blade partly under the cap and it resting on a wheel nut and using a lump hammer to lever the cap off.

Are you sure VW commercial don't sell them? 251-407-691A

They are 100% obsolete from VW UK. The one without the hole was made obsolete a couple of years ago and was superceded by the one with the hole 251 407 691A. This was made obsolete without supersession earlier this year

I found a claw hammer fits a treat. Claw under the lip, and use the studs as a lever point.

I use a mini pry bar (actually and old Triumph Dolomite hubcap tool) about 9" long. Works the same as a claw hammer, but feels like you're doing the job properly
Works a treat, unlike clubbing it to death (which isn't good for the bearings either)...
