Rear Window Wiper

Post by drippytap »

Read several articles on pro/cons of rear window wiper and can see where they are coming from, but the problem with mind is that it doesn't turn off. So if you flick the "switch" it will make one sweep, go back to the rest position and than after 6or so seconds make another sweep and so on....
Only way to stop it is to pull over, switch of engine and than restart. Any suggestion what could be a solution

That's funny - I thought mine didn't turn off either, but it seems to carry on for a few random sweeps and then stops when I've forgotten about it. I'm guessing that the switch toggles between on and off but doesn't take effect immediately.
Either that or it's knackered!

Flick it again and it goes off as if by magic!!!!! It's only intermittent wiping.
