The pistons have to come off next in order to feed them back into the cylinders, all done through a small hole in the front of the waterjacket

Yes I did use an electric sprayer, here's what happened. I abused my other spray guns by not cleaning them thoroughly after prevoius useage and needed a new gun ( 2 pack needs an angle grinder to clean up once its set ). On a visit to my local superstore I spotted a video demonstrating the electric gun/system and watched it over and over, I firmly beleived there was no way the results could be that good..... . . could they?
Well I bought one as they were on special offer and I have been amazed with how well they spray. Its also HVLP so less material waste or overspray, I can recommend them :ok

Well I got the van finished and took it for its French MOT and it failed on UK spec headlights, I can still use it and take it back within 2 months for a retest of the lights only being nescessary.Got a new pair of headlamps off German e bay (35 euros) all fitted and adjusted now.
Last week we went to the south of France for a week and covered 1,001 miles of fast motorway, mountain passes and city traffic driving with no problems, heres a few pics of the trip, it made up for all that effort :ok

Feel proud fella, and from everyone at 80/90, many thanks for taking the time to post the pics and explanations. Some good fabrication skills there - very impressive and what a stunner of a van shes turned out to be.
