Burley Motorsports top ball joint spacers

Post by Aidan »

picked up on a thread on vanagon that they no longer sell them, I guess a product liability issue, it was mentioned in a post where someone had an upper ball joint come loose following some workshop work, and burley came back that this can be a problem with spacer especially and they don't sell them no more

I haven't seen one of theirs in the flesh, MG is using them I think

just fyi

i`m also running spacers and although i dont like the idea of them " dont really like the vw idea of the 2 tiny allen bolts origonally either " they seem to be fine lots of road use and a little off road and no issues. they use a similar idea on the mitsubishi delica and i`ve not heard of any problems with them. i replaced the old bolts when i did mine.

i`ll still be keeping a close eye on mine though.

lee.
