Whoa! Dan, that's some serious rubber you have there on your 16! Bet you don't often get stuck

Re: BFG mud KM1 -v- KM2
not stuck yet,
but i did have to use both diff locks pulling an audi tt up a mountain road in the snow.
the westy still has what i assume is the stock 16" suspension. mine are both swedes and they seem to be lower than some ( they dont look so uppity)
i think the camper could do with a lift though , in the mountains on the hairpins with all the snowboard gear and 4 adults with luggage i got a bit of light rubbing on tight turns but only with my left hand front. it was just the tip of the front wheel arch trim and i think the sticky outy whiskers which the tyres have when new. ( the front left was the spare on its first entry into the tyre rotation)
so like manxman says, "What's advantage of spacers over springs or vice versa?"

245 75 16's will not fit a standard 16 even a lifted one will have interference issues on front arches. I have now got rid of the 16 arches and use my favorite size tyre.235 85 16

245 75 16's will fit a 16 with a 3cm + lift and the arches streched to make them longer. Front wheels will still catch slightly on only 3cm lift but 5cm is far better but will affect other parts that will need attention.
I now have 235 85 16's on my doka.) i used to have 245'S) I have used this size on 3 of my vans now.
