Where to buy front handbrake cable?
Darth Syncro went off to his MOT last week and unfortunately father in law, who was in charge of bus on the day, was a little overenthusiastic with the handbrake and snapped the front cable.
We thought it would be just a case of pick another up from JK or GSF, but it appears that they do not supply these?
Any suggestions of where to get one asap before we have to pay to retake MOT?

Cheers, found that one and one (new, therefore twice the price) from Coolair, but need it asap and can't get through to Brickwerks. Anyone know what their postage is usually like?

Following day usually if ordered in the morning, possibly following day IF the post's not already gone in the afternoon.

£49.95
Twice the price because it's probably the last of the now discontinued stock. When I looked I tried 7 places that list them and only found 1. That was 12 months ago.
have you actually spoken to them to confirm they have the golden cable? The 6 places I tried listed them but didn't have and couldn't get stock
Simon will be v.busy just order online at the brickwerks site

You can't buy the real ones.
The company that made the plastic guide no longer has the tooling.
VW don't have any.
Classic parts don't have any.
We badly needed them so we did what we could, which was get them made as a complete cable with no bar or guide.
Best of a bad job but it works.
brickwerks is a webshop, you order online.
If you ring before 9am, it doesn't get answered.
if you ring after 5:30 it doesn't get answered.
If you ring on a weekend.... it doesn't get answered, its a web shop you buy online.
We don't do phone orders, it's a webshop, you buy online.

I like the ones that go...
" I tried to find your phone number on your website, took me a while, read all the pages....... I've got these wheels, what do I need to fit them?..."

Simon I've got this piece of string. How long is it and will it fit a 1983 pair of Gola trainers?

One of those things I bought a few years ago & kept in the van, just in case....
I have just sold both my vans, so will be listing all the spares I have on the for sale section in the next few days.
Let me know if still required.
Can take to Vanfest, if that helps
