fridge ignition

Post by northantsandy »

Hi guys
I have recently used my fridge and it was working brilliantlyhowever I cannot even get a spark from the ignition switch. Is the ignitor powered by a seperate battery or the leisure battery (which is hardly working) ?

thanks

Hi, I had that problem recently. Worked one day didnt the next.
Mine was a manual push button. When I looked the solution was simple.
I took the lower grill off at the bottom of the fridge where the control knobs are (had to pull off the gas control knob first).
The lead from the push button to the ignitor had come off at the push button.
It's a push on fit so popped it back on and hey presto.
Hope it's as easy for you.

Depends which conversion etc but fridge ignitor is usually powered by the leisure battery via the Zig/control panel
