beam benders

Post by alkers »

Hello everyone, this is probably a silly question, but with my round headlamps do I still need beam benders to drive in Europe? I can't believe how expensive they are!

Gosh, that'll save me a fortune! (well 8pounds, but it all adds up). Got tonnes of that stuff (mainly taped to my van to stop water coming in - but now to the glass aswell!)

Great tip!

Don't bother with the magnetic ones, they are just as likely to fall off as the tape (or get nicked!). But it's more convenient and cheaper to have a role of tape in the van rather than lots of spare sets of magnetic deflectors.

Magnetic beam benders fixed to glass ?

Oh and the adhesive beam benders are just £3 from Brickwerks.

Gaffer any day, mine passed it's last MOT with some stuck on in the right place :D

Came home after 6 months in Europe and completely forgot about the lights until the morning of the test, so it should work the other way round. It's quite obvious which bit needs tape on it. If you're unsure drop me a line & I'll take some photos
:ok
What a long strange trip it's been

Check the Brickwerks link above as it shows you which side the tape goes on for travelling in Europe with RHD headlights or for here in the UK with LHD headlights......

Here you go I'll make it easier...
