Thanks matey, but tbh I was looking for somewhere we could have a shower and the like after a long drive so think a campsite would be better....

Thanks Steve, but as well as me wanting a shower There are 7 of us 4 of which are in a tent. So needs to be a site really...any other recomendations...

I stopped over near Chard last year but can't remember the site, it wasn't anything to write home about tho.
I like these pub/camping places, especially if it's just an overnight rest stop as you've got food/beer on hand if you literally just want to pull up, eat & sleep then head out first thing.
The one I've linked looks quite nice but a bit far up for me for this weekend. We're having a stopover at Betty Cottle's Inn further down.
Have you seen the price of this place
