nice sleepy spot at stonehenge, go to bed and wake up metres from the stones, really really nice. It's on the wild camping map in members only

Thanks matey, but tbh I was looking for somewhere we could have a shower and the like after a long drive so think a campsite would be better....

Googled, got this:

http://www.rodneystokeinn.co.uk/campsite.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I stopped over near Chard last year but can't remember the site, it wasn't anything to write home about tho.

I like these pub/camping places, especially if it's just an overnight rest stop as you've got food/beer on hand if you literally just want to pull up, eat & sleep then head out first thing.

The one I've linked looks quite nice but a bit far up for me for this weekend. We're having a stopover at Betty Cottle's Inn further down.

Cheers
Sarah
