Just a quickie.
Got my new bearings to replace at the front and wondered if there was a particular grade of multipurpose grease I should use on them?

Re: grease for wheel bearings
High melting point, multi purpose grease.
Pack the bearing by dragging the grease with your fingers into the larger taper side of the bearing until grease starts to ouse from the opposite side.
Smear the race and pack between the bearings in the hub, don't go too mad because 'over packing' can result in the grease expanding and spraying outwards onto the brake components (allow some space for expansion).
Do not load taper roller bearings (by tightening with a socket or pliers), they should only be adjusted by taking the nut down until it just touches then slacken to allow a 'small' amount of play.
Checked by pulling the wheel back and forth at 12 and 6 'O' clock (you should feel the smallest of movement) 1-2mm, this allows for expansion when hot.
