H4 Hella head lamp problem

Hello all i need your advice once again. I purchased 2 Hella H4 Headlamps for the old girl as my Devon 1983 A reg pop top camper still had the old style lamps and were showing signs of wear and tear. I found two on EBay and paid £45 for the pair, result i thought. When they came they were brand new and never fitted still in the original boxes, however when i went to fit them and bask in the uprated performance there was a problem. The wire cradle that holds the bulb in place is missing on both, they don't look damaged . I went to a few motor spares shops and when i asked for the part they looked at me as if i was a nutter and told me to go to a breakers yard.Is this the way the lamps come and if so where can i get them, or have i been had right over by ebay once again.Thanks Karl

Should be part of a light unit but as good as a freebie from most scrappers
