front wheel bearings

Post by youde4 »

Is there an easy way to adjust the front wheel bearings without taking the hub off/apart? i was just wandering if its got a bit loose and i could tighten them up a bit? its making a slight rumble noise now and again and though id try this before committing to buy a new one as ive just replaced all the front c.vs (wallet feeling very light!)and im not in the mood to get the spanners outs again

Not sure how to go about this and theres usually a quick reply on here!!
Cheers!

You cant adjust the wheel bearings on a Syncro. If its rumbling then it has got to be replaced pretty quickly. The Baxter chap has all the parts but you will need a hydraulic press to do the job.
