Re: sliding windows ina a converted panel van
Depends; my rear windows are a completely different shape to the centre ones and a sliding window is designed to go in the centre (unless a caravelle had rear sliding windows too?)

Re: sliding windows ina a converted panel van
Caution needs to be heeded here as there are 2 types of window at least.....
The van that has had windows in from new has an opening that is set in from the panel face.
The van that has had windows cut in are usually flush to the face of the panels.
The windows of the cut in type are often different sizes and you can come unstuck if not careful.
Based on the above I would say the caravelle one will not fit your purpose.

Re: sliding windows ina a converted panel van
There's no real way we can say either way. As it was a panel van we don't know who installed the original windows or what size they are. You need to measure the gap as best you can and then find the actual dimensions of a sliding window unit. If your gap is bigger it's a no-no, if it's too small you can always cut some more metal out so the sliding window fits, if it's spot on happy days.
You're going to ask me what size a sliding window is now aren't you?
I can measure mine if you like, but it's in an Autohomes 'Komet' conversion so may not be identical to a caravelle one.......
