found this any ideas

replaced the fuel sender this everning, bit of of a pain to do, got it done in the end. any how i found a terminal that was wraped up with all of the outher wires that run under the sender along the chassis rail. is it anouther one of those conectors that was in the loom like the power stering wires that re next too the dianogstic plug next to the altinater.

I think neil means the ecu - power steering plug. The plug in your picture is for the decoupler switch (tells you when its locked )

Hi Pete, hope all's well, sounds like it is... :)

Yup, decoupler tell-tale, they all have that in the wiring loom, presumably specified before decision to go VC only, and left in to avoid late changes?
