Dash clocks to suit petrol engine
petrol tank
fuel lines
petrol (!!)
gearbox should fit but will have wrong ratios
Aircooled engine!
engine mount bar - to be fair these nearly always come with the engine as removing them means taking off nearly all the tinware and the fan housing.

There is a little bit more work than you first think - it would be easier if it were a petrol van to start with

whats the reason you are changing it, id have thought with all the adaptation youd be better with a replacement 1.6td..in fact id imagine there are more preferable engines than the one you chose...have you looked on the alternative engine forum

dont forget youll lose the heating too....not sure but woldnt the engine bay need to be adapted too to seal it
Based in the industrial north...well...manchester way

i know it is probably better to keep the diesel but i am and will probably always be an airhead, its a novelty and i dont mind the work keeps me in oily hands and scraped knuckles iv also got the t4 for practicality. dont suppose the mounts for the cu are around the same area of the jx are they??? or will we be talkin different mountin points? thank you

Engine bar mount points onto the chassis are the same place - its a whacking great u shaped bar that is bolted onto the engine instead of 2 mount bars that the diesels use

I forgot about the heating! hehe
