What is the manufacturer or type of Zig that you have? If it is the conventional CF series then there are no relays fitted within the Zig itself but someone may have fitted one in the vicinity of the Zig or the clicking just sounds as though its coming from the ZIG. Thermal switches usually function when you are on 240v Hook up and using the Zig to charge the leisure battery. I usually associate clicking with relays in these vans. Just remove the ZIG and gently pull it forward and have a peek if you are absolutely sure that the clicking is from the ZIG itself.
