Window winder spacers

Hi

I have just fitted new door cards and the window winder is rubbing on the new vinyl that we have covered them with, I have seen somwhere that you can get spacers but can tseem to find them

Any ideas

T25 winders are basically beetle ones. Look at the beetle spares market and you'll soon find em.

I think golf ones fit too. A washer or two ought to give you a bit of clearance, but theres not a lot of thread to play with maybe longer bolt ought to do it

They did make deeper winder arms for bugs with longer bolts. Think they're the chrome style with three holes in the handle body.

Just received new window winder to replace the one that came apart in my daughter's hand.

The handle sat above a spacer to it could clear a speaker, but the new handle doesn't reach far enough to turn the metal bevelled thing.

It turns out the old handle didn't break, but a little plastic extension "thing" that was pushed into the handle hole so the handle grove could reach through to the metal bevelled "thing" that is turned that actually opens / closes the window.

Anyone know that the little plastic thing is called? Where could get one? Sorry for the untechnical terminology
