Removing brown tape

Post by andylong677 »

Hi,

When I bought my T25 Double Cab a few months ago 2 windows were missing and plastic was in its place held on by brown tape. Now I have removed the plastic and replacing the glass, but cannot get the dried on brown tape, he used to hold the plastic in place, off the paintwork. Its been there for some time and is brittle but well stuck on.

Any ideas what method would shift this without taking all the paint off with it?

Thanks

Andy

You could try GooGone (you'll find it if you Google it). Or maybe something like this: http://www.autopaintsbrighton.co.uk/hb- ... -509-p.asp which I've found is pretty good at removing stuff like that.
