Wheel bearings

Post by albertramsbottom »

MOre problems

My nearside wheel is making a lot of noise and I susspect the wheel bearings. I have packed the outer bearing with grease but its still the same.

Hear are my questions

Do i need to replace both inner and outer wheel bearings? or does one or the other normally go on its own?

Cheers guys

Replacements usually come as a kit which includes the inner and outer, as well as the seal and split-pin (Always but always use a new split pin)

Would recommend replacing both while you have the hub removed and then you can fit & forget about it for another few thousand miles.
