Post by robber_roo »

Hi all

I would like to fit a oil pressure sender and gauge onto my T25, just to keep an eye on things :shock:

I have seen some on fleabay with a 'standard 1/8 Npt thread'

Will this be OK ?

If not what will I need?

no you need mm (metric) thread to screw into the block

M10 X 1mm to be exact

I fitted a mechanical gauge using this stuff

i would look a vdo sender and gauge.

http://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/p1074 ... 09adaa596c" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

http://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/p6184 ... _info.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

but they will not fit in to the block on a wbx, you will need to source a pipe with an m10x1.0 male thred on one end and female therad at the outher, remove the low preasure switch which is located beween the pushrods and feed the pipe through to the engine bay and clamp the sender in the engine bay. see below
