Re: Anyone thinking of selling their syncro?
Oops.... Looks like I have dragged another person over to the dark side. If you look through the videos on my website in my signiture I would personally like to think I needed one really, I wouldn't have been able to wild camp in half the place's I have if I hadn't have owned Syncro's. Most of us on the syncro forum do know each other but it's only through getting together a couple of times a year having fun in these vans.

Hi Kevin
I have recently gone through the same thought process as you are going through, and I am now a proud Syncro owner. This link http://www.brick-yard.co.uk/forum/t3-sy ... 53792.html might help you decide what you are after, my priorities changed as the price went up, but now I have a 4x4 camper that is different from all the other t4/5's in the area. I have loads to learn, as I did with my bay, but thats the fun for me. Good luck with your search - and thanks to those who help us newbies with our daft questions!
Cheers
Greg

Re: Anyone thinking of selling their syncro?
OK.. so need may have not been quite the right word...
The raving "syncromusthaves" are not a good thing.... its generally a wallet crushing disease.....
more so for short term ownership.. so works out ok in the long term...
there have been lots of people that have bought a syncro, only to find out after what they have got them selves into.. some buy then and never even venture into a muddy feild let alone the kind of things some of us get up too...
there are some that are even thinking of removing the "4wd" parts to make into a 2wd as "they dont need 4wd"........
"Eyes open".. not an issue..
"its just a camper with 4wd, whats the difference"........ big issues....
See you at the next syncro event then??? even if you dont have one....

Yes pehaps i'll make it to somewhere near your next meet in my VW Lt!! It was parked up for two weeks when we had that snow earlier this year and ive seen the stuff you lot do with a syncro and its no place for two wheel drive. Looks like fun though so i'll keep looking. (and saving!)

I hold you personally responsible for my financial demise and descent into syncrodependant syndrome with all that irresponsible youtube posting! Nothing to do with my OCD, bipolar tendancies or low self-esteem and narcissistic self loathing, obviously.jed the spread wrote:Oops.... Everyone else at sycrop just made it all so much better. Worse. Better. Worse.

Re: Anyone thinking of selling their syncro?
The 2.1 Caravelle RHD that Slobbo posted the details about is still for sale and is just back from a film shoot for the BBC that earned Jim the owner a tidy bit off cash...:lol
Because of this he said he is now willing to let the price slip a bit so if someone wants to grab themselves a good solid bus I would give him a call....01383721281.
If you've got any doubts on the condition of this bus just give Ian a call at Syncronutz as that is where Jim bought it from and it has just sailed through its mot no probs.

I'm selling mine )c: It is seriously the most enjoyable vehicle I've ever driven, puts a smile on my face every time I drive it, but I don't use it enough, and am starting a new job next week, so will have even less time

Jed's seen it with his mate Bob, I think he thought, whilst not the "van in a million" that Bob was looking for, it was not a bad 'un
