Phil,

The bit you plug into is to the side of the regulator. Can't see it in your pic but then I can only see one side. Not sure what the gaping hole is tho.

There the only outlets/ inlets I have Kelt?

There's no other parts on the tank so I take it there are two different types of tank and I have the one without the BBQ take off??

the take off is after the regulator, like this http://www.vwbusshop.de/gsshop/gsbilder/255070439E.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Phil , there should be a red cap over that , think its a blow off valve

The bbq take off is after the regulator like folk have said already.
You could take getting an inline take off valve , most good caravan centres will have them.

I have a spare westy one but I'm not selling just incase mine fooks up sorry

Probably a stupid question, but has anyone got any instructions for the tank as we bought our Westy last month and previous owner never used the gas so couldnt even tell us how to fill, where to service or basically anything about it at all!

I took the cap off so still got that luckily, I don't blame you having a spare they are 116 euros brand new!!!!

Do you think I could just swop the regulator end if I did fond one cheap enough or is going down the t-piece route going to be easier???
At the moment I have ordered a 5/16 connector that I can fit onto the gas cut off inside the van and going to run the BBQ from in there
