Wiring worry

Post by normandybrit »

Just had to replace the stoplight switch on the van. Not a big deal....
While I had the fuse box out I noticed up at the end by fuses 21 / 22 there was a black/yellow wire which went to a female push on connector and then on after a couple of Cm to a male type connector ( all factory connectors). This was just floating about. I can't find my manual and what little I can find on the net baffles me!! Anyone any idea what this is and where ( if?) it should be connected.
The van's a 1990 1.7 diesel, ex- Deutche Telecom.

You'll soon know if something doesn't work and if all appears well, leave well alone :D
