What size tyres would have been fitted as standard to the Doka with the Carat alloys?

205/70r14.. was std fitment for the "carat" alloys.. 2wd
Prob same for syncro, but may have had 205r14's on them...

I'd love a set of them "keyhole" wheels.. IIRC they were 15"....

I remember now. The 'keyholes' are an ATIWE wheel - 16" I believe as MG had some on his Tristar.

I seem to remember that they were 15" for the "14's" were also available for the 16"... as Tristars never came as a 16" as far as I am aware....

Nah, the Atiwe rims were 7J x 16" and came with 225/55 tires according to the Tristar brochure.

Sure looks nice

The wheels on the early Tristar (Magna) in the VW Museum are 15"

Yes, the Magma wheels are the 14"x6Jet30 Atiwe 'Kaseloch' (cheese hole) style often found on the Carat

That's interesting. the stock Kaseloch is definitely 14".

Perhaps they did specials for prototypes such as the Magma. 15" would certainly look better.
