no break lights

break lights not working have checked the bulbs they are fine. any ideas on what it could be need to get it done befor night full. thanks for any help. :?

all fuses look ok too but would be handy to know which fuse is for the break light i have nothing to tell me

Terminals corrode on switch behind dash....

No brake lights..
switch broke
poor/no earth
fuse gone (No2 post '86 No.8 pre '86)
poor or corroded connections
bulb blown
broken wire

what you can't tick leaves the problem :ok

And as you'll have the cartridge type fuses, a small break in one isn't always evident just from a cursory look at them. Sometimes you need to remove them one at a time and make sure one doesn't fall apart. Likewise a wire can come loose on the reverse.
