Carb part number

Hi

Is there a link anywhere for the pierburg 2e3 part number? I've seen a 2nd hand carb for sale on fleabay and the seller says the part number is 90 107 577 and I want to check if that's the correct one.

Thanks for that! How did you find that out?

TBH, I'm not knowledgable at all about engines etc (which is why the forum is soooo good) so would this be compatible or not?

Just checked the current carb on the bus. It's a solex.

Now I know they are supposed to be on a DF, but as I said, mine's a 1.9 dg. Seems to run ok at the moment (occasionally a little underpowered going uphill but what bus isn't?) so should I worry about changing it for a pierburg or leave it? Also will it be affecting my mpg?
