GSF Exhaust?

Post by AngeloEvs »

I need to replace the exhaust tail pipe which is available from GSF as a separate item but I may decide to replace the box as well, has anyone used their box and was it ok?

Mines been fine too.
I'd check though because when I bought mine they offered two qualities.

Get the right one .... the early silencer has flanges along the silencer that make it a barsteward to get out of the later support brackets  As a short term (4 or 5 years) fix they are fine .... if you are thinking long term look at Brickwerks, their stainless silencer and tailpipe are compatible with the usual system and as you replace your other parts buy stainless too.

Thanks for the replies, I will check the Brickwerks SS too. I guess replacing with SS in various stages would make more sense... :ok

Hiya you will find the tail pipes rust very quickly. My advice buy the tailpipe from brickwerks in SS as for GSF back boxes they offer 2 types a cheapo and a more expensive Earnst one the latter is good quality and lasts for years
