Campisite discount cards ?????

Post by we_love_vw »

Hi new to the site just bought a T25 Holdsworth about 2 months ago.My wife and i went traveling in a campervan in Australia and New Zealand last year and loved it.When we where there we had a discount card that gave you 10 to 15% off the cost of pitching up.Other the course of time the card become invaluable. We both work in education and during the summer holidays we are hoping to travel around Devon and Cornwall.A card like this if it exist would be great.Any pointers would be appreciated

I've never heard of a similar discount card in the UK, but joining the Camping & Caravan Club could save you a few ££££'s.

I don't know of any in UK apart from if you join CC club. In Europe there are some good discount cards such as ACSI and camping cheques but these are usually for more out of peak times.

We belong to the C&C Club...don't use it every time but enough to recoup our membership fees & some. Over 55s get a bigger discount  :P !!
Just returned from Germany using the ACSI card on one site for 4 nights, I have to say that by the time everything was broken down ( Electric/rubbish disposal/etc) I had to question the value of it. Might be better value in S France where there are more participating sites.
