We have the 'standard' non-PAS Caravelle wheel.

Hi Red Westy

I fitted a Golf wheel and then a few months ago had to trim down the spacers you kindly sent me................I worked out today the steering column bush had slipped so I repositioned this to the Bently dimensions 51mm/+5mm from bush to end of column. Do you know why this happens and what I can do to stop it happening again? I unfortunately had to replace the spacers with a less professional job but am back to the UK in August so will get some from a computer shop.

The other thing I noticed was the gap between the column joint plates is about 10mm and should be 3,5mm according to the manual, do you know which order you set all this up in?

Cheers for any help, I put a similar post on Brick-yard earlier but have not yet got a response.

Zeb
