So after the drama of having my '88 WBX stolen I had to quickly and cheaply replace it so I could get to Glastonbury.
I picked up a bit of a shed from eBay but hoped it might have an OK engine - it didn't and it blew on the M3 on the way to Glasto!
It's currently sitting at a garage in Glastonbury waiting to be looked at. I have been told it's going to be difficult to find a decent 2nd hand engine but am reluctant to shell out £1500 or more for a recon
What options do I have?
How do I find a decent 2L Aircooled engine?

Cheers Peet - they don't seem to be as easy to come by as hoped!

Lot of money to spend on something I've no idea the quality of - it's a real quandary!
