Thanks bud, as we all know the T25 has a good strong ladder chassis design and most of the corrossion on them is only cosmetic and doesn't really affect the use of the vans. I have yet to own a vehicle that offers more versaltilty and satisfaction than a T25 (and I have had quite a few motors over almost 40 years. I once owned a Reimo LPG converted 1900 wbx T25 and twas the best I had, fast reliable and economical too.....

Well managed a few more days work on the old van recently, primed it up and sprayed it in a similar product to rustoleum, trouble is I did not realise it was a mat finish (must brush up on my French), guess I will have to repaint in gloss or spray on a laquer, anyone know a type of laquer that don't react with other paint finish's...... . . .

I dunno, that matt finish is rather good. Rustoleum do a clear coat in the combicolor range..

Cheers for the info Covkid, someone else said the matt look gives it character, it would save a load more work/hassle but I don't think I could live with others commenting negative things. I will have to try and get hold of that Rustoleum clear coat :ok

Ah, checked out the lawsons site and it apears they only do the clear coat in aerosols :( Think I would need quite a few to do a T25 :|

hi van look great and I have enjoyed you thread, I too am in the middle of a very simular project and have replaced both back wings and wheel arches, off side corner, replaced all window and winscreen seals, both gutters that I had to make myself, the centre section as you have, all window apertures required inserts, new battery tray and various holes gaiters and seals. Im now nearly in a position to get an MOT fingers crossed keep it up :ok
