Hi
I have faulty temperature gauge, and before thinking about replacing the gauge itself, Im looking at changing the sensors by the thermostat housing. The engine is a 2.1dj and the sensor for the gauge is the one behind the thermostat housing I think, at the back of the engine. Ive bought a sender from Just Kampers that said fitted my engine, but the fitting is a round one whereas the connection for mine is rectangular....They sell sensors too with the rectangle connection - are these the same thing as senders? And would it be ok to fit one, or do they have different tempeature ratings etc
Cheers

Re: Temperature sender
my old one was a rectangular fitting, my new one from gsf was round.
Just slide the connector over the round part side on it fits.
If it doesn't work give us a shout and I may be able to help as i've just had the same issue and fixed it myself.

Re: Temperature sender
should be a rectangle black sensor plug and 2 wires. should be a direct replacement. No need to mess with anything to change. just un plug old and plug in new.
