We went to a motorhome show sunday and saw this new product on the mkt .

I like that........no blowy wind but still a nice view - not too expensive either :ok

Use horticultural windbreak mesh , usually green 2mtr wide x50 mtr long £50ish at say 7 mtrs per van thats £7 per van

Now one of those adapted to fit on the slider opening would be great for when your parked up with a good view but a hurricane blowing through the door :ok

Yeah but wouldn't you spend half your life arsing about pegging and unpegging the ruddy thing. Seems like too much hassle to me. Just buy a windbreak if the wind bothers you that much and you really need to light some candles. :lol:

I visited my mum and dad at this show as they were camping there,the old boy who was camped next to my parents had a hymer m/h with said sunblocker on all sides on his wind out awning.

you could see him quite clearly inside reading his book,

Scampi & Chips have some - they really are good. But - you wouldn't want to put them up unless you are staying put for a bit - they seemed a bit faffy. Not sure how they'd stand up to a strong wind either - it's one think having a constant fan blowing at them but another having a Yorkshire wind!
