hi i am new to this site and i am just after a bit of help :) i have just bought a vw t25 1985 1.9 and i am compeatly re building it. interior. paint . bodykit and pop top. today i have just bought a leasure drive pop top and i am a bit unsure of how to fit it to the van and how the canvers fits to the van ? is there suposed to be a frame for it ?

Hiya, welcome to the club :ok

with the leisure drive pop top the canvas is riveted directly onto the roof - you should have some plastic strips that go on top of the canvas (inside) to stop it tearing with the rivets.

ah i see thank you :). hmm i dont have those strips with it as we bought it from ebay. what would you sujest to use for the plastic strips like anything i could buy from b&q or something like that ? thanks :) x

I think you could use any strong (but supple) plastic strips......I too bought one from Ebay, its currently still on top of the shed!!!!
