hi i am new to this site and i am just after a bit of help i have just bought a vw t25 1985 1.9 and i am compeatly re building it. interior. paint . bodykit and pop top. today i have just bought a leasure drive pop top and i am a bit unsure of how to fit it to the van and how the canvers fits to the van ? is there suposed to be a frame for it ?

with the leisure drive pop top the canvas is riveted directly onto the roof - you should have some plastic strips that go on top of the canvas (inside) to stop it tearing with the rivets.

We're in the stickiest situation since Sticky the Stick Insect got stuck on a sticky bun. -hmmmmm
ah i see thank you . hmm i dont have those strips with it as we bought it from ebay. what would you sujest to use for the plastic strips like anything i could buy from b&q or something like that ? thanks x

I think you could use any strong (but supple) plastic strips......I too bought one from Ebay, its currently still on top of the shed!!!!
