Have been advised that the rear discs & pads on the wifes '06 A4 (2wd). Does anyone know if this is difficult to do &/or any torque settings etc?

If they are anything like on the A3 they are fairly easy to do, but you will need a caliper wind back tool to get the piston back into the caliper.

You need to have the tool, same as a Sharan/Galaxy, as it has to be squeezed and turned at the same time.
The tool is really cheap and makes it a quick job.
