Water leak
I've got yet another leak on the coolant system. This time it's from the small hose under the large hoses that looks like a U bend. The hose goes onto a piece of metal that is then bolted to the engine. I think it's coming from where the two pieces of metal join rather than from the hose. Is there some sort of gasket between these pieces of metal that could need replacing? I've no idea about engines so please keep replies simple please.

Re: Water leak
Hey
you mention that this is not your first coolant leak, you should check that you don't have a blown head gasket (ie regular combustion gases build up in the coolant system).
if you can get it to a garage to weld the hole, otherwise get the pipe replaced by a second hand one from a scrap yard.
follow instructions on this web site to bleed that system afterwards
