Hi,
Thinking about mounting or hanging our 10'' Avtec tv from the cab roof.
Anybody done this?
The brackets available look as though the tv screen faces the floor when not in use. Is this correct?
Assume will have to drill up thro cab roof and the hi top floor to get a fixing.
Any info. appreciated
Don

Re: TV mounting
I have the 15" Avtex mounted between the front seats. Yes, the screen faces the floor when it's folded up.

You can just see the bracket without the TV attached and in the folded up position in this one

And a close up. The bracket has been swung round to face the front else it sits proud of the cupboards and I keep smacking my head on it which hurts like buggery

A close up of the fixings. Self tapping screws as there is metal immediately behind and after a gap the wood of the cupboards. You might have to drill holes in a couple of layers of metal as you might hit the crossmember as well as the van 'roof' - basically it's a 'suck it and see' situation. I also had to pack the bracket off with a few nuts else it hit the lip of the woodwork.

Bracket turned round and folded out ready to mount the TV

Re: TV mounting
If you google tv under cupboard brackets you will have a wide choice.

As you can see mine is further back than 1664's
Mine coach bolts into the roof, being a high top there is a large piece of wood on the other side of the roof metal.

Re: TV mounting
Are these brackets 'universal fit' then? Mine came with the TV so I assumed that's the only one that would suit....

Re: TV mounting
