Leaking Water Pipes Temporary repair

Post by Brownbetty »

My front to back pipes have sprung a small leak. Replacements are on back order. Can anyone suggest a temporary repair to see me through until the new ones arrive?
Bought our second t25 in June 2012 after 18 months without one. It's good to be home. I am now the proud owner of a mobile project. 1982 Danbury conversion Aircooled and all totally original. Got some work to do!!!

One of the plastic pipes on me "jx" leaked at the olive where it connects to the radiator hose. Put an extra jubilee clip on it as a temporary repair. It lasted fine for almost 12 months with no issues then replaced the pipes with a set on stainless steel ones for a permanent cure, not the cheapest repair but it my opinion the best as you cannot get the plastic front to rear pipes new anymore
