Mine's a 1.6d n/a

It is slow & does not like hills one little bit.

Not sure I'd want to do much more than 60mph (which it can do) with full kit and kids on board.

Anyway, probably best giving it a good service and going from there.

Fit nitrous about £500.00 and most diesel engines can take it no probs, it will be much quicker

No you should get 65, maybe 70 with a strong tail wind
Get some one to put their foot down on the acc. pedal while you check to see if the throttle opens all the way to the stop.
Or get rid of the pop top, throw away your interior, and put some go faster stripes on.

You know when you read things a bit too quick; I thought "Crikey you must be a bit brave to be looking at the throttle opening when someones got the pedal down at about 80 mph!"
