Air cooled exhaust on an early 1.9 petrol syncro?

Post by jed the spread »

Just looked at my mates early 1.9dg syncro. The back box is rusty and has a hole in it, and it looks like an Aircooled one :? Did they use this exhaust on an early DG syncro or is it some sort of lash up? It actually sits quite high up too....

Yeah, if it is the same as was on my early 1.9dg, was an early exhaust (something like this), had 90-degreeish cast angles (obsolete) off the end of the tubes which lifted it back up under the rear valance..
