question for subaru peeps

Post by murdoch »

if a 2.5 legacy has this description, could it mean its flubbered?

She was used daily up til a little while ago when I was away on business and she started losing water. My wife, in all her wisdom, did not top it up but kept driving until she overheated and had to be recovered. She was then left and declared SORN with no diagnosis being done. Like many other things, I intended to get round to her and sort any problems but just never got the time and now we want our back driveway cleared. Having other cars to choose from we kind of shut her out of her minds and she deserves much better treatment than that.

from what i've read, they do not like overheating.

unsure whether to bid or not :?

Only bid if you want an engine thats not running! It was already loosing water without the final overheating problem so thats a problem in itself. I would only bid if you intend to do some major work on the engine to get it running again.

running an engine without water is never good.... so blindly driving on for god knows how far is daft....
I would consider the engine for parts to be fair...
