I was using the first one only last night on the beach at skeg! work really well, plenty of air gets under the coals so get really hot!

we have the top one. Works great as a bbq and even better as a wood burner by removing the grills. Nice and toasty!

We dont have either of those but alot of people are using the top ones now as a bbq then chucking wood on it after to make a great camp fire even on sites where camp fires arent allowed.

Number 1 gets my vote too. For an easy life don't bother putting coals in the bottom simply buy disposable barbecues from Lidl at £1.49 currently and there's no cleaning up required when you fold it away
