Leisure Battery Size

Post by T25Scott »

Hi All, newbie here.

I'm currently roller painting my van and sorting out the electrics. One quick question though,

What size of leisure battery do you all use for under the seat? Dimension and amperage?

Any help would be great...I'll take some photos of the progress and post them on soon!

Cheers,

Scott

Hi Scott, welcome to 80-90

This from the club 'Wiki' https://club8090.co.uk/wiki/Ca ... s_that_fit" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

or do a 'search' and trawl through it https://club8090.co.uk/forum/search.php? ... mit=Search" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Depends whether you want to fit a genuine (deep cycle) leisure battery or just use another standard starter battery. I've got another standard battery so I can jump lead across if my main starter battery dies on me :wink:

There's quite a few threads on this one :wink:

There's a big section here in the wiki

Thesehave also been recommended, I bookmarked it for when I need a new one.. Also a lot of talk about elecsol ones.

Get familiarised with the wiki section - link at the top of every page - there's loads of info on practically everything you'll ever need to know

And welcome to the forums
:ok
