Engine Advice

Post by Grim_Tim_ »

Hi, i am looking at picking up a T25 Panel and am after some advice regarding the engines.

The one i am looking at has done @250K and smokes a lot on start up. I will not be able to pull the engine apart to diagnose.

Now, i have a '64 split but have never has a T25 before.

What mileage do you get out of the stock diesel engines? What problems should i be looking for? Any ideas on the smoke - it clears after a short while on a run?

All help - greatly appreciated.

Whole forum just for this: https://club8090.co.uk/forum/viewforum.php?f=12" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Engine sounds very tired. Many alternatives you could fit. Have a nose.
