westfalia full width rear seat????

Post by Tallulah43 »

Hi
would a westfalia rear seat be a safer option to carry 3 small kids in child seats when replacing mdf crappy bed?

also, who would i get to fit 3 x 3 point seat belts onto a westfalia seat if I got one
cheers
Lisa
ps ...sorry my questions about seats, bed and kids seem to go on and on and on.... but the info has me sooooo confused...can't afford a rib or reimo bed :|

If you mean the rock n roll rear bench seat out of a multivan then I would say yes. VW fitted them in the factory with seatbelts so there can be no safety issue with them. Not sure about the 3x 3 point belts though, I thought they were 2 x 3 point with a lap belt in the middle like normal cars?? Might be wrong though!

nope gaz your bang on 2x 3 point and one lap belt.

but if your van was a panel conversion you will need the fitting kit from baxter as panels didnt have the mountings for the seatbelts
