which buddy seat can you travel on

Post by Tallulah43 »

Hi ya all

can anyone tell us what type and where to get a seat which could go behind passenger seat with 3 point seat belt please.

problem we're trying to solve is we have 3 small kids all in car seats and looking for best seating plan for them all for safety,

thought of full size bluebird r n r bed and hubby to weld 3 x 3point seat belts in it
or
2 in back , 1 in front and me on a buddy seat

any opinions please
cheers

I built a rear facing buddy seat and 3 point seat belt attachments for my CF. I probably over engineered the seat belt fixings but knowing how complicated regulations can be I removed the seat for the MOT and was aware of the insurance implications if it came to a claim.
