Novice - Changing Diesel Injectors

I am thinking it would be a good idea to change the diesel injectors on my 1.6td jx. For someone who has only changed oil, fuel and air filters in the past it is easy to do? I have studied the 'D Injection Sys.pdf' on the useful downloads page and looks reasonably straight forward but was wondering if there is something not included or I have totally misread the situation!

pretty straight forward , remove all the return pipes and the metal pipes (carefully loosen the brace ) , then use a long reach socket ,
take them to a diesel pump/ injector specialist , get them to pressure test them , and if needed rebuild them ,
On replacement , you will need new flame traps and new return pipes and blank end , Brickwerks sell all of those as will the D/Specialist
Take care when seating the injectors and the union bolts on the metal pipes and the rubber spacer on the brace

Any idea on rough costs to get them pressure tested/rebuilt?

When removing the return/metal pipes is diesel going to leak everywhere or is there something I need to do before this?

Sorry for all the questions, this is all very new to me and seeing as its the fuel system I really don't want to mess it up!

I do most things but injectors, I got put off by a mechanic in the diesel injector specialist telling me they often crack the heads by over tightening.
New injectors are about £30 from GFS and a bit less with Club 80 90 discount.
