At the end of me tether with me jx engine at the moment as it is kicking out a fare bit of bluey grey smoke when you rev the engine gone through all the usual checks valve clearances ,pump timing new oil and filters injectors cleaned and serviced etc etc .She starts first time hot or cold i have even put another turbo (2nd hand) on it to know avail anyboby got any ideas .The van has no tax or insurance at the moment as it is an ongoing project and has done very few miles over the last 2 years (40ish) could this be part of the problem as it just gets run up to temp every couple of weeks on tickover cheers Stef

need to give it a good blast to blow out the crap and settle every thing down if you have done little mileage then the oil rings will need to settle back in.
once the bores get lubed up again then the oil rings seal better + they all smoke a bit lol
