Post up a pic of the seat base.

I'm about to fit some to my van and just today come across a great way of fitting them that is a) safe, b) removable and c) involves no welding/drilling.

It fits the standard runner with no modification to the seat or base.

I'll be looking at getting a kit made up over the coming weeks so will be posting details and prices soon. If it's possible to reproduce it at a decent cost then I will happily offer it.

hi posh bugggers

great i'm not in a great rush but as soon as get them fitted let me know some pics would be a help too

i was looking at maybe grinding off the original runners and just bolting the alfa ones straight on to the box do you think this would be safe?

Could be, bnut then if you ever want to swap back you have a load of hassle.

I'd be wanting to at least add spreader plates to the box tops to even the load.

Sorry already done it. ITs not to bad actually, a little welding and trimming up of the vw bases, and you can then bolt the Alfa 156 seats to your original bases.
sorry for the bad pics
